Welcome

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Public Policy and Political Economy at the University of Texas at Dallas. I do empirical research on the impact of public policies that incentivize innovation using causal inference techniques from applied microeconomics. This research is at the intersection of the Economics of Innovation, and Public Economics. For my doctoral thesis, I’m currently focussed on studying policies impacting the technology market for antibiotics to combat the public health threat of Antimicrobial Resistance. You can read more about my research in the Research tab.

I am looking for full-time roles starting May 2027 and internships in the interim. My CV is here. I am open to research/data analytics roles in academia, think tanks, or consultancies with public/social sector clients in the US, or in India. While I currently work in academia as a grad student, previously I worked in industry (Cartesian Consulting) in a stakeholder-facing role as a data analyst, and interned at a think tank (Center for Global Development). I hope to blend hard and soft skills to create valuable data insights. I have experience in all 3 regimes of statistical analysis - descriptive, predictive and causal - using data analysis tools like Python, R, STATA, SQL and advanced Excel. Alongside this, I have an understanding of stakeholder management via my industry experience, and an understanding of Bardach’s eighfold path to policymaking with practice in writing policy papers and talking points memos. Further, I also help manage a lab, and can coordinate collaborators working on research projects.
